National Health Information Priority Action Zones
Background
HIS-NZ identifies 12 ‘Action Zones’ that provide a focus for Health Information in New Zealand to the year 2010. HISAC has facilitated sector-led development of an agreed vision of these priorities through the publication of respective ‘Initial View’ publications, and most recently the Preliminary Scope and Approach documents (PS&A's) for each Action Zone.
Action Zone Preliminary Scope and Approach documents
The Preliminary Scope and Approach documents outline New Zealand’s implementation approach for health information priorities. This work builds on the initial views developed after wide communication and engagement and serves as a ‘point-in-time’ reference of collated sector feedback and current progress.
HISAC expects that this work will inform and guide sector planning and implementation decisions for initiatives related to each of the twelve Action Zones.
