Sub-committees
When HISAC was established in 2005 it had three sub-committees:

Infrastructure Sub-committee
National Collections Sub-committee
Health Information Standards Organisation - now reconstituted in the form of the Health Information Standards Governance Group and Health Information Standards Office (HISO)

Infrastructure and National Collections Sub-committees
The Infrastructure and National Collections Sub-committees operated from 2005 - 2008.

Health Information Standards Organisation
The Health Information Standards Organisation was established in 2003 as a stand-alone committee and, when HISAC was established, became a sub-committee of HISAC continuing to operate until 2008.

The organisation has been reconstituted in the form of the:

Health Information Standards Governance Group and
Health Information Standards Office (HISO)
