Electronic Prescribing and Dispensing in the Community

Three key resources for ePharmacy include:
a New Zealand Medicines Reference System (which includes a medicines terminology, a universal medicines list and a national formulary)
an ePrescribing system
shared patient medication histories
This conceptual model aims to:
show how these three key resources work together
clarify aspects of HISAC’s ePharmacy vision and a number of terms
inform the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for implementation projects.
